  4. Add the flour until it's make a paste
  5. Cover the paste with a plastic film and live it half an hour into the fridge
  6. Preheat the oven at 180°
  7. Take back the paste and make it 5mm thin
  8. Cut your paste with a cookie cutter (mine was heart shape ^^)

  10. The biscuits must color a little bit
  11. Let them cool ...

They are so good and cute that I use to offer them as a little present,  to thanks somebody for example.
You can keep them at room temperature, in a boxe, for quite a long time if the room is not to humid.

I hope you will have a lot of fun making them, please do a review on it if you bake them ^^
Next time : Scones !!

Colors on my fingers

I am usually a "Red nail" girl. But shopping in a mall, I fell in love with that. This is a color made for the "Pirates of the Carribbean" collection.

I found the name quite poetic and beautifull. So from now my fingers look quite differents ^^

What is your favorite nail polish of the moment ? Tell me I'm so curious ^^

Monday is movie day

Have you ever watch "Carefree" staring the lovely couple Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers ?
If no, well I can't convice you more to see it, It's a jewel. Ralph Bellamy is also playing in there.
You will see of course some lovely dancing and singing like : "I Used To Be Color Blind"; scene in witch Ginger seems to be defying gravity in slow motion.

There some pictures of the movie :

Do please have a look on Amanda lovely cloth as she explain her dream to the doctor. The heart reach by all those arrows is simply to cute ^^

Have a delightfull week, XOXO Daisie

Chocolat and me

Today I want to try a new kind of post: Recipes !
I'm found of pastries and wish to become a baker soon. It's actually a friend of my whose gave me that idea of blogging about some of my "kitchen adventures".

Everybody loves chocolat, so let me start that new rubric with a:
"Chocolate Mi-cuit"

Recipe:

2 eggs / oeufs
40gr almond powder / poudre d'amande
30gr sugar / sucre
25gr butter / beurre
75gr (or more, ou plus ^^) chocolate / chocolat

Melt butter and chocolate in a "bain marie"
Mix eggs and sugar
Mix the chocolate with the sugar and eggs.
Put it in a mold ( cupcake mold are great for that)
Put them 15min in the frizzer (so the heart of it will be hard and take a longueur time to cook)
Then 15min at 200°

Eating Rainbows

Yesterday the weather was terrible, so I decide to bring some colors in it ^^
I made: ... A Rainbow Cake !!!

I tookthe idea on Whisk Kid but used an other sponge cake recipe ( one without butter )
Then I done a frosting and a suger paste. But that last broke down.

I perfume my cake with Rose Water and put raspberry jam between each layer. Yummi ^^

Ol' Blue Eyes

Ahhh Frank Sinatra, The Voice of the 50's and 60's. Hearing him sing is breath taking . I might have around tree hundred of his songs in my Ipod, so imagine how few I breath !

Well, our fellow is born in 1915 from Italian parents. He is known as one of the best cronner ever and had sold more than 150 millions of disques. Frank started is career at twenty years old with a jazz band. Five years later he joined Tommy Dorsey and his band. In 1943 he singned with Columbia with who he will makes more than 300 records.

In February of the same year he also appeared for the fisrt time in a movie ( playing himself ) then in August in his first role movie : Higher and Higher.
In 1944 he plays for the first time with Gene Kelly in : Anchors Aweigh . Did you know that the famous scene where they are both singing and jumping on beds had to be shouted ... time because Frank couldn't jump in rhythm .

Then came other movies like :
  • From here to Eternity
  • Hight Society
  • Pal Joey
  • Take Me Out To The Ball Game
  • On The Town

In music, tunes like " I'm A Fool To Want You" (that he wrote for his wife at the time Ava Gardner), "I've Got You Under My Skin", " The Lady Is A Tramp" or "My Way" are famous around the world.

To finish with, I recommend you The Official Frank Sinatra Website and Wikipedia for more infomations. I used both web site to create that article.

In Take Me Out To The Ball Game

In Anchors Aweigh

So long !
